In this guide, I want to give some hints and tips as to where you can find the most valuable asset of all, the matched betting free bets.
Why Bother Paying for a Service?
Matched Betting Free Bets can come from a variety of sources, but really it just depends on how much work you want to put in, as an example I would say that almost everything that is available on OddsMonkey is actually available on Google for you to find yourself.
However, let’s be totally honest here, making money with matched betting is about being efficient with your time, so if you can use a resource to find these free bets then you stand a much better chance of making a profit each day.
When it comes down to it, there are four ways to find these free bets paid or free, your circumstances will most likely determine which of these options is most appealing to you.
- Google (the FREE option)
- Social Media including Twitter and Facebook
- Bloggers Daily Updates
- ☝☝☝ FREE OPTIONS ☝☝☝
- OddsMonkey (initially this option is free, but then requires a subscription of £17.99 / month)
One thing you should be aware of is that OddsMonkey actually offers a free trial if you sign up and create a free account, they give you two free offers that you can take advantage of right from the start, no need to pay a penny.
You can then take the £45 or so profit that you make and spend half of that to become a premium member, all paid for by the bookmakers 😎
A quick google search can yield some high profits, especially if you are on the lookout for some signup offers, remember you don’t even need to find a list of offers, you just need to find a list of all the bookmakers in the UK first.
I did the following quick search:-
This method works perfectly well, I found a couple of websites that listed many of the most popular bookmakers along with the offers that they have for new customers who wish to sign up.
As a matched bettor I am a big fan of “free” so this is something I do suggest doing every so often, especially if you can find really obscure unknown bookmakers.
However, there is a downside to this approach, and that is that it’s not very friendly for beginners, you have no support and community and you may need to source your own matched betting calculators online and manually match odds.
For me personally, I don’t mind manually matching odds every so often, but if I had to do this all the time it would kill my efficiency and eat into my profits.
So, whilst I do think this method is definitely worthwhile, I do think it’s better to get some experience under your belt with a service like OddsMonkey before you attempt these on your own.
Another great way to find free bets is to look around on social media, my suggestion is to look on both twitter and facebook, but most of my success has been via Facebook groups. One group in particular is really worth taking a look at and that’s the Team Profit Facebook Group
This group ranges from some very experienced matched bettors and some folks who are very new, it’s the perfect blend because you tend to see questions being asked that are helpful all the time regardless of where you are on your matched betting journey.
There have been some gems in Facebook Ads as well, so keep an eye on these, every once in a while you will see an updated offer that might actually differ from the standard offer.
A good example of this is Betbright, the signup offer they have requires some wagering requirements and because of this, you would need a large exchange balance of £2000+ just to mitigate the risk of winning into the bookmaker over and over again.
For this reason, a lot of matched bettors, especially folks with a smaller balance opt to avoid this offer because it’s a lot of risk.
Personally, I haven’t done the standard offer yet as I really don’t want my entire bankroll potentially being at the mercy of Betbright.
However, because we are about to start the 2018 world cup in a few weeks I noticed this offer was updated in this Facebook Advert.
Matched Betting Journal
Another way to find free bets is by following my daily posts in the journal section of this website, I tend to post first thing in the morning around 8 am and start with an empty post with £0.00 profit. As I move through these offers first thing in the morning, lunchtime, and early evening I update the post.
Obviously following along with me like this requires some knowledge on your part, I don’t provide a step-by-step guide as I literally just post what type of offer and with which bookmaker, if you do shoot me an e-mail or leave a comment then I can point you in a direction to find out more about that particular offer. That will be either a video, an OddsMonkey thread or maybe something from Team Profit.
Finally, OddsMonkey – this service provides everything I have mentioned above, you are given a breakdown of all the offers with video guides, text guides, forum threads and an entire community at your fingertips to help you out whatever level you’re at.
Not only that but they provide you with a daily offers calendar which makes it incredibly easy to pick new offers todo each day, both for the reloads, and signup offers.
The tools they provide are brilliant, you can start off with the most basic tools, odds matchers and calculators and eventually work your way up to the more advanced tools.
The best part about OddsMonkey is the price, £17.99 for the opportunity to make an income like I have made on the right-hand side of this blog (£1840 profit at this point) is just a no-brainer, I also love the fact that you can do the first two offers and instantly make around £45 profit before spending a penny, basically meaning that the proof is in the pudding.
If you want to take OddsMonkey for a spin at no cost and do the first two free bets then please click on the banner below, sign up for an account and make yourself a lovely little tax-free side income, also take a look at my review on YouTube for OddsMonkey.
